Since childhood I’ve enjoyed Valentine’s Day because I love hearts. It was always wonderful to receive a heart shaped box of Chocolates from Daddy and something from Mommy; be it a pair of socks with a heart motif, a heart shaped frame or heart shaped earrings. I have the pair of Red Heart Earrings she gifted me when I was 14 and I treasure them and wear them every year.

I think every home should include a piece of blue and white ceramics. I read the history of the Star Pattern Mittens here. I’ve been looking for a longer puffer coat and a friend recommended Zara. This is the one I chose. Nothing says warm winter evenings than Fondue to me. The Correspondent is on my very short list; as a matter of fact I’m waiting for it from the library. While I was looking for a new bag recently I came across this terrific looking tote. I love card games anytime but, especially during the winter. I picked this Blood Orange Soda up from Trader Joes for Thanksgiving and Christmas and it’s delicious.
