The Spring Faire was held in Jennifer Dengel’s garden on May 3rd and I was one of the lucky folks who was there!

There were several wonderful sellers just beyond this glorious entrance.

Match Boxes offered by Maura Endres

I purchased four treasures for myself: a cute vintage metal frog and a clipper ship plate from Tricia Brown. A match box beautifully decorated from Maura Endres (I also gifted matches to family). And a print from Delphine Le Goff of the Tompkins Square branch of the New York Public Library.

Big Green Barn Visit (April 2024)

The Original Big Green Barn

Hi Friends - I love nothing more than sharing where I’ve been especially if I’ve been thrifting! On Friday April 19th I made my way to the Big Green Barn and she did not disappoint - so many wonderful curated treasures. I came home with a few new bits for the Chalet.

I really love this lamp and thought long and hard about where it might live in the Chalet. And these plates were beautiful!

Big Green Barn Visit (October 2023)

I know all I seem to be doing lately is shopping / thrifting! But, in my own defense friends when the talented Susan Brierly Bush is holding one of her quarterly sales events you say heck yeah and get over to her magical barn. Which is exactly what I did October 8th

My girlfriend Kris, my sister Noreen and I showing off some purchases!

Four times a year Susan opens her Barn and invites friends to come and shop. She is the owner of the Big Green Barn in Harding - 912 Mt. Kemble Ave. (same as Route 202 between Morristown and Bernardsville.) which is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10-4pm.

The talent that is Susan Brierly Bush - she has an amazing eye and curates such a diverse collection of items for your home. There is something for everyone here in the Barn and in her Shop in Harding!

After visiting the Barn we popped over to the Black Horse Tavern & Pub.

Here are my new treasures. The vintage tankard with hunt scene and foo dog dish both sitting pretty on my gorgeous new vintage gallery tray.
